LEGO Set MOC-0287 - Mars Science Laboratory Sky Crane Stand

This is one of the three components needed to create the Mars Science Laboratory Sky Crane. The other components are the Curiosity Rover MOC-0271 and the Descent Stage MOC-0288. The base in the Curiosity Rover model is reused here for the stand. To attach the rover, connect one end of the cables to the stand as shown in the image and the other end to the three black cones on the top deck of the Curiosity Rover.

I made this model rather quickly so I could have a Sky Crane display in time for Brickfair. You can use it as a starting point to create your own if you don't have all the exact pieces or don't want to buy them.
