Review - 40109 Mini Mini Cooper

LEGO Creator 40109 Mini Cooper Mini Model

This polybag is a mini model of the recent 10242 Mini Cooper set which I unfortunately don't have for comparison. So it's a Mini Mini Cooper I guess :)

This model is a promotional giveaway when you spend USD $99 (GBP £50) or more at shop.lego.com (US, CA, UK) in the month of August 2014.

As with all polybags, it is a small set with 59 parts. There's not much to say about the build, so I'll leave it to the photos.

When compared with the other miniature vehicle (Mini VW Camper Van) promotional polybag set from August last year, it is at a slightly larger scale.

    I found this mini build a little annoying. Specifically my son wanted to use the car with a minifigure. The car ends up too small which is not unexpected. The problem I had is that I couldn't find an easy way to modify it to do that. I ended up having to use some spare parts to convert it.

    I love these reviews, and so does my four year old. He looks at them and then does his own reviews of the sets he builds, narrated to me.
