This month was mostly about getting through the backlog of submitted sets, mocs, and other changes. I did get a few code fixes and improvements done though as described below.
You can now generate your own API key without emailing me. Go to your profile's settings page to generate one if you want to try it out. I will eventually add usage stats there too.
Hello it is me again. If you don't remember me. I was the guy who did the Emmet's Contructo-Mech review some days ago. So without further talking lets get started :-)
When not playing with SPACESHIPS! I managed to get this stuff done:
API Enhancements - Some new functions and tweaks to existing ones. Details are documented at the API page.
Before we start building one of the second wave of LEGO Movie sets. I want to thank Nathan to give me the opportunity to do my first review here. For some reason still unknown to me I'm allowed to step out of the shadow of my inventory-admin-cave and get rich and famous.
The Ghostbusters Ecto 1 is the first of the newly branded 'LEGO Ideas' sets to be released. The original Cuusoo model was submitted by Brent Waller in March 2013 and quickly reached 10,000 supporters by August 2013. The LEGO Cuusoo team announced the sixth Cuusoo set would be the Ecto 1 in January 2014, and will be released on June 1st. The Ghostbusters HQ building was part of the original Cuusoo submission but not part of the released set, however Brent has made the instructions for building it available for download.
The April competition required the creation of a MOC from a single set. There were 21 approved entries. The three judges scored every entry with their own criteria and weightings which included creativity, originiality, playability, instructions, and a host of other aspects.
