I have created a new photo/file sharing site dedicated to LEGO fans: Bricksafe.
Bricksafe is currently open for early adopters, but I will be closing registrations in the next day or two. This is to help me ensure the site is fully stable and ready for a full release to everyone in the coming weeks :)
The guys at BrickOwl have been working hard and I'm pleased to announce that they have now setup integration with Rebrickable! BrickOwl is a great new online LEGO marketplace where you can buy and sell LEGO parts or sets. The site already has hundreds of stores with more being added every day.
I get a lot of emails asking about the images I use for the parts on the site. I also get a lot of people trying to download all the images via automated tools which can hurt performance of the site for everyone. I've come up with a solution that I hope addresses both points!
Here's a new feature that I think will come in extremely handy. The new Compare Sets page (under the Sets menu) lets you pick two sets and see which parts they have in common and which parts from each set are unique.

I finally finished something I've been meaning to do for a long time – improve the search features. I have basically replaced the existing set and part searches with a single page which I hope is simpler to use and produces far better results.
