  1. I know that (I'm a contributer myself), but those usually don't include spare parts, or - if it's a 3 in 1 creator model - a lot of parts. Anyway, maybe it's best to use those files and add the few extra sa7pares I can find here on Rebrickable. Using LDD Manager seems an option as well...
  2. When building an alternate MOC in LDD, I often need to check the instructions and put all the parts in a file myself, to use it as a template. But I was wondering, since this website has part lists of a lot of official sets, whether it is possible to get those some way or another into a template for LDD. Has this something to do with those export options? Anyway, that would save me a lot of work, so thank you in advance.
  3. Congratulations to the deserved winner! Are we getting a top five with who had the most votes?
  4. This was a really great contest! It got my brains busy for days, and had a lot of fun too. The entries are pretty amazing too, both in quantity and quality. Some MOCs don't strike me as alternates at all! Congratulations to all participants and organizers! And now my votes, after long of internal mumbling. My family members must think I'm going crazy... But I tried to make a fair top, considering the available parts for each build. 1. MOC 1091 - Futuristic Police Motorcycle 2. MOC 1114 - Mammoth 3. MOC 1071 - Assault helicopter
  5. It reminds me somewhat of the Citroen 2CV, driving to the right hand side of the picture. The exhaust pipes seem strangely placed that way.
  6. I totally get your point. I just wanted to say that you don't have to be discouraged when you have such a part-pile.
  7. I beg to disagree. It's not really about the parts available. When you see the MOC, you should think that the builder had all the parts of the world at his disposal, but chose those specific parts for a very good reason. Then, an alternate model is truely succeeded. I don't think I did something simular with this MOC, but I do think it prooves that an alternate of the A-wing can look cool: [MOC] Slave I - flyby by Bert.VR, on Flickr
