  1. Hello I'm going to buy 7745 train, I got eyes on one offer howether owner said transformers is buzzing, motor makes some sound but he doesn't want to start motor because if afraid it will broke. Is it correct 12v transformer behaviour?
  2. Guess why lego changed mould for some most popular clips parts
  3. I don't know why but someone posted all atlantis sets with 32064b. According to bricklink and my own findings in Middle Europe these all sets were coming with 32064a. Bricklink also suggest all sets were with 32064a, only some have both options. Similar think happens with popular small cone with or withour top groove, but in other sets from around 2010.
  4. I constantly buy unidentified kilograms of lego for 10-15 Euro per kg. If you don't have all instructions sheets I have my own method I wish to share with all of you. First check all printed parts or parts with stickers aplied on with bricklink database. Next step is check minifigures. Just look for rare parts as a starter.
  5. Perfect! This purist approach is very much welcomed. Those 80' and 90' sets were full of surprises. Ok here are Technics: 1. 851-1 and 870-1 2. 852-1 and 870-1 3. 853-1 and 870-1 4. 854-1 and 870-1 5. 855-1 and 870-1 6. 856-1 and 870-1. 7. 857-1 (8857-1) 870-1 / 960-1 or and 872-1 and 870-1 / 960-1 8. 8860-1 and 870-1 or 872-1
  6. Ok my example. I got Push along Train 7715 almost 30 years ago and my blurry memory said that instruction sheet had 2 options for motorization. Today I unpacked my recently bought 1kg of legos and there was working and complete 810 https://rebrickable.com/sets/810-1/basic-motor-set/#parts . Instructions sheet has 2 options to motorize it: 810 and 7865 If not my childhood memory I would never check instruction sheet again. There are some Technic from late 80' - early 90' with similar approach in instruction sheet. I'll try to write them down.
  7. Some of the older sets were meant to be combined with other sets, for example in order to motorize them, according to instruction sheets. That's why I propose all these official combinations should be mentioned in description of both sets. It should help those of us, who buy random lego by kilograms and find very usefull parts.
  8. I suspect it was random, online sources aren't very reliable but I will go with random purchase How did you replace broken rubber bands x137?
  9. Which disks 5x5 were in Robo Riders sets? For example 8512 Onyx has 2 Disks Glow in Dark Opaque. Are these 2 disks with print-pattern randomly chosen during packaging? Do you have any personal experience with Robo Riders sets bought MISB?
  10. I tried exporting bsx file and it failed - I got unspecified error message as I mentioned in the first post. Next i exported it to xml and manualy copy-paste - got abovementioned error message. Using "Export to bricklink wanted list" works fine! Thanks! However, I'm missing one lot Got 473 unique lots, bricklink accepts 472. I'm going to check which part didn't come through.
  11. I tried manually copy/pasting and got error as follows: The document entered contains duplicate item/color combinations. Only one item of each item/color combination is allowed. Please fix the following duplicates: Item No: 3623, Color: 0 Item No: 2445, Color: 0 Item No: 4589, Color: 0 Item No: 970c86, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 3068b, Color: 0 Item No: 3957, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 3623, Color: 0 Item No: 2654, Color: 0 Item No: 3460, Color: 0 Item No: 4740, Color: 0 Item No: 2610, Color: 0 Item No: 57467a, Color: 0 Item No: 2489, Color: 0 Item No: 4073, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 3032, Color: 0 Item No: 3899, Color: 0 Item No: 4265c, Color: 0 Item No: 3023, Color: 0 Item No: 2817, Color: 0 Item No: 3737, Color: 0 Item No: 3847, Color: 0 Item No: 2458, Color: 0 Item No: 2446, Color: 0 Item No: 3651, Color: 0 Item No: 4589, Color: 0 Item No: 973px61c01, Color: 0 Item No: 4592c02, Color: 0 Item No: 2435, Color: 0 Item No: 4032, Color: 0 Item No: 4589, Color: 0 Item No: x187, Color: 0 Item No: 73590c01a, Color: 0 Item No: 4081b, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 3023, Color: 0 Item No: 3069b, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 3039pb013, Color: 0 Item No: 970c00, Color: 0 Item No: 3626ap01, Color: 0 Item No: 3795, Color: 0 Item No: 3838, Color: 0 Item No: 4073, Color: 0 Item No: 3020, Color: 0 Item No: 3710, Color: 0 Item No: 970c00, Color: 0 Item No: 44658a, Color: 0 Item No: 4349, Color: 0 Item No: 2412b, Color: 0 Item No: 3963, Color: 0 Item No: 3626bp02, Color: 0 Item No: 3700, Color: 0 Item No: 4740, Color: 0 Item No: 4349, Color: 0 Item No: 4589, Color: 0 Item No: 3959, Color: 0 Item No: 3713, Color: 0 Item No: 973px170c01, Color: 0 Item No: 4073, Color: 0 Item No: 2625, Color: 0 Item No: 2825, Color: 0 Item No: 4073, Color: 0 Item No: 3660, Color: 0 Item No: 3020, Color: 0 Item No: 4315, Color: 0 Item No: 4265a, Color: 0 Item No: 3838, Color: 0 Item No: 3040p33, Color: 0 Item No: 3024, Color: 0 Item No: 4073, Color: 0 Item No: 3673, Color: 0 Item No: 3033, Color: 0 Item No: 3710, Color: 0 Item No: 2433, Color: 0 Item No: 3708, Color: 0 Item No: 3832, Color: 0 Item No: 2680, Color: 0
  12. Hello While exporting my missing parts to bricklink I got a message that there is an error in xml but nothing specific. What could be the reason for this? Have you experienced the same thing?
  13. On this site 4085b ceased to exist in sets from 1990 and onwards, according to peeron this part was as late as in 1991 sets. Which site is correct? Different sources? Or US vs Europe sets?
  14. I got many 4073 in my lost parts and it says "Part Error".
  15. For example, we have this part: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/3068bpx32 it's from set http://peeron.com/inv/sets/1382-1 However on Rebrickable http://rebrickable.com/parts/3068bpx32 has no corresponding sets. But the same part is listed as http://rebrickable.com/parts/3068bpb13 and is properly recognized as a part of 1382-1.
  16. Why there are no sets lists for most of printed parts? I have to use peeron instead when dealing with mixed legos I bought ebay/allegro. I hoped that Rebrickable would be able to help me instead.
  17. I have the exact same problem with lost parts as RandoBogus - can't delete lost parts (0 and nothing happens) and cannot change number of lost parts - I got message as here. And also as with RandoBogus case: "Another oddity is that if I remove the set altogether from my inventory, the lost parts remain (this may have started the problem to begin with)." I added few lost parts, deleted set, added other lost parts and now I have lost parts added before deleting the set from my sets list.
  18. I own this set and found out that inventory of minifigs in this set is poorly done, in most not-so-known or older sets there is no specific minifig inventory, ex: http://rebrickable.com/sets/7715-1/push-along-passenger-steam-train-45v-1985 Is it intentionaly not to part minifigs or just a mistake of person who put inventory into website? It's suprpising considering the fact that proper torso is inventored somewhere in database as I checked.
  19. Is there a possibility to implement a new search feature - what can I build with all my parts in list? It would really help because when I look for sets to build with a few parts, for example 4 wheels and 2 axle (6 parts), search results vary - some will have 2 wheels and 2 axle compatible, others 4 wheels and no axle. My dream is that rebrickable search feature will cross-reference specific part combinations and find sets that have all of parts I suspect belong to specific set.
  20. I concur, I've just encountered the same bug - all sets are 100% match even though they should not...
  21. Many of the older torses don't have it's own specific render. Did you consider putting pictures instead of renders, at least until they are ready?
  22. Part numbers are not subject of intelectual property law, just like list of telephone numbers, or at least in most civilized countries (USA excluded - dangerous waters in most cases). We appreciate your hard work .
