Good point Lightbringer but neither variation generates a matching result. I suppose nobody recognises this assembly
  2. Ok, so the part does belong to the set but it's not used in the build and it's not a spare. Interesting - no change request required. Also, I should have read the comments on the set because it's all there (awkward). v1 of the instructions contains a similar worm gear (https://rebrickable.com/parts/4716/technic-worm-gear/) instead of the 15457. The 1 part difference is because v2 contains the sticker set.
  3. I think the inventory for set 42027 (Desert Racer) contains a part that doesn't belong: https://rebrickable.com/parts/15457/technic-worm-gear-3l-with-bush-ends/ Unfortunately, the instructions are of terrible quality and one can only guess what some of the listed parts are but I've built the set and it definitely didn't need that part. I would have filed a change request but I can't find where to do that. I think I'm too low level

Bummer, doesn't seem to be part of an official LEGO build

Ok, here comes another one. Can't find this part. Looks like a wrench. I'm trying to ID where this thing is from. Got all the other parts: 32123b:14 43093:1 85940:0

Thanks, that helped. Didn't know the "pb*" thing. I used my newly acquired knowledge to track down a lime 1x2 tile with a "2" sticker on it. Apparently, I also own this now :)

@TobyMac I can't figure out how to do the search for a stickered part on bricklink. Do I need to create a login to get that function? Could you teach a man to fish?

Thanks TobyMac, how did you find that?

After many weeks of sorting I am now left with a collection of unidentifiable "things" that the previous owners had built. I'm not sure if they're part of a set or just something they stuck together but I was hoping some of it is recognisable. I tried the "Find set' trick with entering the part numbers and colours. No luck with any of those - maybe I got the shades of gray wrong. Here are some pictures. Also, can someone explain to me how to search for that sticker on the propeller blade?
  11. That seems like a good solution, but I'm not getting a keyboard anywhere. Clicking on the top bit of the menu just folds it back up. The empty field below does nothing and everything else just selects where I click. This is Chrome Version 80.0.3987.99
  12. I was trying to add a new set to my Technic list on my phone but couldn't because the pull down list doesn't scroll and the Technic option was too far down. I've attached a screenshot. Using Chrome on a pixel 2
  13. The ladder comes down. Surely that's a function :)

Thanks, that's possibly a part of a set I identified earlier but haven't gotten around collecting all the pieces for https://rebrickable.com/sets/5983-1/undercover-cruiser/#info

Hi, I bought a huge box of 2nd hand Lego and I can't figure out what this part is and I can't see the part number. Tried hunting around for wing and sail but nothing showed up. Does anyone recognise it? Cheers
