    unknown color

after checking several databases, I can´t identify the color on the right side. Is half way from dark green and dark blue... I know that are old parts, but I don´t know the exact year. Some can help, please? Thanks (image deleted by Simon as requested)
  2. Hi all, When I retrieve a lost part it seems that the image url included in the result points to an image with a different color than the part involved. https://rebrickable.com/api/v3/users/<token>/partlists/27086/parts/3297/4/ { "list_id": 27086, "quantity": 80, "part": { "part_num": "3297", "name": "Slope 33° 3 x 4", "part_cat_id": 3, "part_url": "https://rebrickable.com/parts/3297/slope-33-3-x-4/", "part_img_url": "https://m.rebrickable.com/media/parts/elements/329726.jpg", "external_ids": { "BrickOwl": [ "431571" ] } }, "color": { "id": 4, "name": "Red", "rgb": "C91A09", "is_trans": false, "external_ids": { "LEGO": { "ext_descrs": [ [ "Bright red", "BR.RED" ], ..... The color for this lost part is Red but when you use the url to pick up the image its black. I also noticed this with other parts and other colors for lost parts. Is this by design? should I retrieve the image in a different way if I want the corresponding image? Regards Peter

    What color is this?

I'm about to submit a part for Maleficent's head but cannot figure out what color it is. What color do you think her face is? https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Sleeping-Beauty-s-Fairytale-Castle-41152 Thanks! Rob

  6. Hello- Your site is fantastic and I've been using it with much success to sort my collection. However, finding the exact color of piece can be frustrating. One option that might make this task less frustrating is to be able to sort the color list by general color name first. For example, if I have a green piece, that isn't quite green, how best to determine its actual shade? Is it bright green, or medium green, lite green, or dark green? No, the database says my part isn't available in any of these colors. Wait, it's "*yellowish* green"?? What in the world is yellowish green? This issue might be resolved by re-sorting the names such that the primary color appears first: Green Bright, Green Medium, Green Lite, Green Dark, Green Yellowish, etc. This way, when you scroll to the Gs to find Green, you have all the green options right in front of you, instead of having to scroll the entire list to find the arbitrary first letter of some descriptor of "green" that you've never heard of. The one exception to this might be "Trans", "Chrome", or "Metallic". These are such a different take on the color that the identifier should probably appear first, setting all of these into the same alphabetic range of the listing. As I mentioned earlier, this could be an option. I'm sure certain some of your most active users have the list memorized backwards and forwards in its present form. In order to not disrupt their workflow, re-sorting this list to primary color first should probably be an option, or possibly a separate drop down in the search page.
  7. What color are the bricks in the picture? I want to know what the color name in lego classification. https://zapodaj.net/d5fbc36347816.jpg.html
  8. Hi All, I am using the service "get_user_parts_color_summary" and I would like to show the real color in my UI. How would I go about getting the hex color code for a particular color (rb_color_id) ? In the list on page :http://rebrickable.com/colorsI can see them but in the "get_colors" API this is missing. Is there is different way to retrieve them or should I make my own mapping file based on the list on the website? Kind regards Peter
  9. It would be great if the drop-down list showed the color with the text that describes the color. Perhaps have a solid-filled box with the color before the text? e.g.) 口 White ● black Or, better yet, the drop-down would show the part in specified color! It's worth noting that the human mind recognizes shapes before color, color before text, text before words, etc. Most people hate to read. If you show the shape and color, then the text only serves to confirm the definition.
  10. Hi. Just found what I think is a bug in your excellent website... Trying to work out which bits I need to build 10143 (Death Star II). I can see in the main page you need 460 of brick 3004 in dark bluish grey, but when I press "build this set", I am now told that they are "light bluish grey". This can't be right! I've tried in Firefox and IE on my Windows 7 machine. Cheers, Steve
  11. Is there an option for replacing a color? For example, say you want to build this http://rebrickable.com/mocs/docbrown/deadly-nightshade-off-road-buggy all stylish parts are dark blue. As I do not own a 41999, I , and I guess most people, do not have these parts in dark blue. I might have them in yellow or red. So it would be great if I could check this. My guess would be to tell the system to change the MOC parts dark blue for yellow ones. Is this feature hidden somewhere? Or if not, is it possible to create this option? Keep up the good work!
