  1. Hi everyone, im new to the forums and just wanted to share the work iv been doing over the past few months
  2. Is anyone aware of a person or company offering a service to create instructions and parts list for a custom build? Much like the "lego design by me" service that has been discontinued. Background: My grandfather who is in his mid-80s and a carpenter all his life has recently discovered Lego. My mother gave an architectural set to him a couple years ago as a gift hoping it would help combat depression and boredom. After dismissing it as a child's toy for nearly 12 months he gave it a try after running out of jigsaw puzzles. He was immediately hooked and has been assembling as many models as he can get his hands on. It truly is amazing what a difference it has made in is demeanor and mental state. My grandfather built the house he and my grandmother have lived in all their lives and my goal is to develop a set of custom instructions to recreate that exact house and surprise him with it as soon as possible. Does there exist someone or some company who can create custom Lego instructions from pictures or CAD renderings of the house itself and generate the associated parts list from which we can order the necessary pieces. One down-side to my grandfather's new habit is his refusal to disassemble the models he puts together. He displays them proudly on ever-increasing shelves in his house. Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer recommendations?
