Negative parts???

Recommended Posts

How can i possibly own a negative number of parts?

This also gives negative % of parts, or even missing more parts then there are in de MOC part list.

I mentioned this earlier as reply in an other topic.

Oh well, i think i'm getting it,

I think the problem was that i deleted sets from my list that were also in the ignore list.

This will result in the parts being deducted twice from a MOC part list so many parts show as negative in part lists for MOC's.

I still think this is a bug or at least a glitch altough i'm happy to know the reason for my negative part count.

I've had this as well, when doing "Build this Set" calculations when I had "sets" that I had listed as "use in my build", but then had them marked as "currently built".  Seems like it tries to compute parts you HAVE, but then subtracts them out, and then when you UNCHECK those in the "recompute build", it incorrectly marks those as missing and needed.  Anyway, the best solution I've found is to not have ANY sets available for builds (uncheck all in "my sets") and to NOT have any sets "built" currently...

I've had this problem as well when i had sets built.

Contrary to Jeff's suggestion, I found that I had to CHECK the set lists with built sets, because it seems they are added to the needed parts no matter what.

Hence, having those.sets unchecked results in needing more parts than the MOC/Set you wanna build requires. Having them checked seems to result in the subtraction of its parts, and thus result in the correct number of missing parts.

I agree with the duke, this is a bug.
