[high] GENERAL - auto refresh not working

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am creating part lists by adding elements. After an action is taken such as adding a element or modifying its quantity, the part list does not refresh to reflect the change right away. The changes eventually get there; sometimes it takes more than 5 minutes.

How long does it normally take to refresh the part list and show modifications?

Is there a way to force a refresh?

Thanks

@Nathan I get similar issues when I make changes on an inventory. The changes gets made ok (at least the moving from main to spare), but when I open the part pop-up, the old values come up. Both for quantity and spare, not tested color yet.

i have similar issues; the site looks a bit slow on updating itself.

That is the strangest thing on that site. Every action (add, delete, import) needs an extra manual browser refresh to work. And that refresh you have to repeat on every subpage...

@Nathan An example you can use for testing:
Normally, when I approve a Fan Photo, and I open the photo pop-up again from the admin page, the button Approve Photo is gone. Since a few days the button stays in the pop-up, like nothing has happened. When I refresh the page, the photo is gone from the list, like it should be.

Thread title changed and moved to Bugs.

Old: Refresh Part List
NEW: [high] GENERAL - auto refresh not working

Very likely caused by the same bug that prevents logout and list creation - pages are cached in the browser, when they should be returned as non-cacheable by the server.
