Truck T1 MkII, White

Model "Truck T1 MkII" build with LEGO® and with LEGO® Power Functions® in different colors. This model is a rebuild and revised version of US Truck T1 I finished back in 2009. It represents the more aerodynamic US truck models like for example the Freightliner Cascadia. Like with all my models this is build in scale 1:17,5.

The original build of this model is in Red, but maybe you prefer to build it in a different colors. So here are the different colors this model could be build in. Please feel free to change even more if you want to, but be aware of availability of the needed parts. I checked these color schemes and parts can be found as easy as with the original Red color scheme.
These color variations come with building instructions and inventory/parts list!

This model features: solid axle suspension on all axles, PF powered driving with power transmitted independently to both rear axles, Ackerman geometry on steering axle, Servo powered steering, fully functional fifth wheel, modeled engine, detailed cabin interior and 3 light units.

Alright! I've took the truck through 2 rebuilds and 2 colors (The white will be my favorite) and I must say the whole building process is on par with the LEGO Saturn V rocket in terms of how much fun I had putting it together! I have noticed the 'frame' on the bottom is not the strongest thing in the world but I know how to fix it on the next rebuild, Some parts of the truck are extremely fragile so its main use for me is display, but I cannot complain with the looks and presence it gives to my currently barren shelf of MOCs. Truly worth every penny in my book!

Thanks so much again. Love your honesty and I don't have anything to hide :-) Some parts are fragile I agree. It's a compromise, looks over sturdiness :-) Glad you love it! Thanks again and a Happy New Year to you and yours!

Yeah it is not that easy I think to get the parts. It is already some years old this design. I try to design with common parts, but in time this changes... Cool idea to have a road train with this! :-)

Awesome build. Looks like a Freightliner.

You're so right! :-) It is strongly based on/influenced by the 90's Freightliner FLD 120. All with the skirts and stuff...
