Nice. Not many drilling rig MOCs and this one is really good.

Just finished, this was a fun build I was a few parts short then i realised it also needs some parts from the little white dumper truck. Many thanks to whoever spends their time doing this sort of thing so us learners can have some good fun.
    Thanks Very much

    Hi there,
I would really like to try and build this but could someone please tell me what other parts are needed other than the parts from the BWE ?
Many thanks for your hard work.

Thanks! You need no extra pieces, just 2 strings each 80cm long.

Thank you for doing that! However, several people have already collected the photos into pdf files so I wonder if a big project like that is worth your time...
      Looking forward to seeing them!

Great build. There were a few pieces that weren't in the 42055 kit that were needed, but I had them from other kits. I know one was a 24 tooth gear another was a couple pole reverser handles and i think the last was axle 3 with stop.
Not complaining just letting others know what else is needed to complete the MOC with the free instructions.
    Great job brickbybrick!!!!!!!

This moc is alternate from 42055 but your missing a lot of parts
  • 1 year ago DJLF (336) MOC Designer
Nice alternative build! Did you actually use all the pieces? If not, about how many did you use?
    • 1 year ago BrickbyBrickTechnic (13K) MOC Designer
Thanks! I did not use all the pieces, I used somewhere around 2500. I just didn't keep track of the parts I used, so I added all of them to say "if you have 42055 you can build this"

Super. A fine working rare model with an exclusive design and with free instructions. THANK YOU!
You did a great job, not only the design but also the instructions, more than 600 images, impressive! However for my own convienience I made a pdf with generated instructions, but I couldn't do this without your excellent photo sequence.

What software did you use to create the instructions?
      • 1 week, 5 days ago jokey02 (5K) MOC Designer
First I build the model in LDD and next convert the lxf-file into instructions with Blueprint (v026). This program can be found in a forum on Eurobricks.com

Awesome!  Thanks for sharing.  Now, if I could just bring myself to disassemble the BWE (or get a 2nd one).
