4882 Sea sniffer
This model consists of two parts. I started with the bottom half, which somewhat resembles half of a spheroid like a zeppelin, with the oddity that for the build it is flipped 90 degrees. The reason why I did this is because it puts the smooth parts also on the top and makes the overall shape unusual. The top half fits nicely on it and I only needed to figure out what I could do with the remaining pieces to make it look good. I had already used most of the curved parts. The best solution was to put the circular bricks on the side and use the rest of the pieces to make the top as dynamic as possible. Adding a tail helped a lot on that front and I decided to use all the rudder and fin like parts for maximum effect. The result is a really nice fish shape. It actually resembles, even in color, the butterflyfish, but that name is a bit silly for the model, so I used the most distinctive feature, the nose, to give it a better name.
