Avesome moc! I built this and the result is fantastic!
I have a question (I'm a newbie): is it possible to connect another power function light to the sbrick? Thanks.
    • 3 days, 9 hours ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
Thanks and respect if you could accomplish it as a newbie ;-)! I think it´s not possible to attach any more cables to the SBrick because all ports are being used and there is no space between it and the engine cover. BUT: be creative and study the other builders´ versions - there is always a way to make your own MOD of anything!

The white 32123b has an Color Error. Shouldn't be white 32123a?
    • 6 days, 12 hours ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
Thanks, I have changed it. It´s strange that after publishing in the beginning of the year the error showed up just now. I have the suspicion that some changes come with system updates on the platform, we´ve had several issues similar to this regarding the orange version as well.
      • 14 hours ago Longshine (1916)
No, this error was since the beginning (end of 2018). I waited to post this, because i thought you would see that by yourself.
        • 13 hours ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
Thank you for your attention and sorry for the error.

Amazing model, really. I love the amount of detail on it. On my to-do list for sure. Thank you very much! :)

Does anyone can show the black color version of the P1?

Bei der manuellen Variante ist einer in schwarz dabei!
  • 9 months, 1 week ago Foyle (29)
Hey, nice work but i have a question about it, can you recommend a pair of sets to rebrick this?
I dont want to use bricklink, its messed up. even for 950 pieces i have to pay 1500€... fml
  • 9 months, 1 week ago mrclean08 (351)
I have the instructions for this R/C version, but I didn't see where to add the sBrick or BuWizz parts.
    • 9 months, 1 week ago Wilko475 (251)
Step 52 (page 166) for the sbricks
      • 9 months, 1 week ago mrclean08 (351)
Thank you so much!!  I see it now for the sBrick.  Are the 2 BuWizz parts supposed to be substituted with the 2 Electric Power Functions Battery Box from Step 40 (page 111) ?
        • 9 months, 1 week ago Wilko475 (251)
I used sbricks so I can’t answer that question with any confidence
        • 9 months, 1 week ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
Please check some of my previous posts.
  • 9 months, 2 weeks ago Wilko475 (251)
Don’t make the same rookie mistake I did.
Make sure you power up your steering motor to centre it before installing it in the model!!! 🤣🤣
  • 9 months, 2 weeks ago xxgersonxx (64)
Dang...I so wanted to buy this only to find out it cost $700+ just for the legos WITHOUT the motors...cry...cry...I did find the fake version for $125 BUT I can't buy that neither due to ethicality. Cheers.
    • 9 months, 2 weeks ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
I´m sorry for that, but no need to cry - we always need to find compromises in life ;-). I find it very honorable that you refuse to buy the fake, this attitude is very much apreciated! You can save costs by not buying everything in one single BL shop. The prices for the new white Porsche are dropping rapidly right now (1095 common parts) - to around 120€/USD. Another advice would be to buy a bigger (used!) Technic set which contains white panels, such as #42043 (almost 1500 common parts), or e.g. #42025 (900+ common parts) and bricklink the rest. Buy brandnew PF components directly at the Lego online shop. Replace battery box by non-rechargeable, that also saves a bit.
      • 9 months, 2 weeks ago xxgersonxx (64)
Thank you so much for the tips, Bruno! That's very kind of you to mention those tips. Regarding buying the knockoff version I just can't and people should boycott those unscrupulous companies. It's so sad for one person (you) to come up with this amazing Lego set (which I can't even begin to imagine how much brainstorming and time it took) and for those *"'*''* to just come and steal that idea and then rip you off. :(
I will look for those sets you mentioned and hopefully one day I'll be able to make your amazing creation! Cheers!

    Awesome work Bruno and Thorsten!
I’m almost done with my version (a nod to the black and orange GTR model), pics soon.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I found one minor mistake in the instructions.  Page 201, step 2.  The blue 2-1 pin connector on the right should be in the 5th hole from the right instead of the 4th.  Otherwise the dash won’t go on.
    • 9 months, 2 weeks ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
You are right of course, thank you for your feedback! I was sure we had eliminated this one amongst others in the last turn before release... But I´m happy there are no bigger mistakes however ;-). Curious about the pictures of your version!
      • 9 months, 2 weeks ago Wilko475 (251)
Pictures will be a couple of days yet.  I changed my mind about the color of a couple of the panels and am waiting on replacement parts 😎
  • 9 months, 3 weeks ago danielvermeir (367) MOC Designer
so in your instructions you use battery Electric 9V Battery Box Power Functions (Rechargeable) with Dark Bluish Gray Bottom
84599, but i can replace it (same size??) to a BuWizz battery?

great instructions btw, looks amazing. collecting a few pieces and off we go :)

And do you still need the sbrick when you use a BuWizz? it has remote too no? (i am possibly wrong, havent used one yet, but just wonder)
    • 9 months, 3 weeks ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
A BuWizz battery has the same lenght/width as the Lego battery box and less in height. One piece features 4x channels. Theoretically you can replace 1 battery box AND 1 SBrick by 1 BuWizz. It uses remote bluetooth technology. You can learn how to use BuWizz in combination with SBrick by reading this Eurobricks topic. I still couldn´t get 2x BuWizz to work in parallel with any device I have in my household, that´s why I don´t show it in the video. In the meanwhile we have upgraded devices SBrick+ which has a lower current limit and BuWizz 2.0.

quite an incredible car...I really like the white panels in this MOC...a must build for sure...thanks!!
  • 9 months, 3 weeks ago charlieca00907 (4K) PRO
I built the manual version, but this white version looks amazing, not to mention the power functions!  Just one thing, the white curved panels are not yet available.  Do you know when we will be able to purchase them?
    • 9 months, 3 weeks ago brunojj1 (1408) MOC Designer
The new white panels are available in the new Porsche #42096 set. Check out the option on the right "compare MOC with another" - it results in around 1100 common parts (!), panels #18944 and #24119 in white included. It makes sence to buy the set, at least to build a McLaren ;-).
      • 9 months, 3 weeks ago charlieca00907 (4K) PRO
I suspected that was the answer.  But I didn't know that they had so many parts in common.  I already ordered one, might as well make it two.
  • 9 months, 3 weeks ago RobertBrick (1654) MOC Designer
Did the lego designers think of this car when creating the panels right in front of the frontwheels? They look like determinated for exactly this purpose :)

    Brilliant work!
  • 9 months, 3 weeks ago Shandyman (6K) PRO
WoW! , no double, WoW, smile in orbit and still climbing! Managed to secure last 8465 on Bricklink for part 6797 (exhaust), now to arrange chroming, along with rims. Think Bricklink  servers will be melting today as people rush to grab panels....... Thank you! its been a long wait, but oh so worth it!
  • 9 months, 3 weeks ago asiadream (3K)
I have to build another RC version of it!

Great! Well done Thorsten, I’ve had a look over the instructions and wow what a challenge that must have been! Bruno, great looking design. I will be building this supercar in the near future. Happy new year and will post a few photos once complete!
