This is one of the most powerful Lego models ever. There are in total of 8 XL drive motors, 2M motors for steering and additonal 2M motors for winches.

Almost all of the parts are in LDD, but the following are missing:
8x 47349c04 - Wheel 72 x 34, with Lime Tire 72 x 34 Balloon Offset Tread
2x 61929 (BL: bb339c01) - Electric, Pole Reverser / Polarity Switch with Black Lead, Power Functions Complete Assembly
Dont forget some strings for the winches.

You can also make a version with regular hubs and wheels.

Hi! First of all Thank you for the Building Instruction of this amazing Model! I want to build it next week,  so i have a quastion: how many Sbricks would i need to replace The PF Receivers?
    • 2 years, 10 months ago Catweazel Level 10 MOC Designer
      Hello Linzer,

i think three SBrick is the minimum. The Fox has 12 Motors. But with three you have 4 XL on one SBrick. I think that is to
much for the battery box. With four SBricks you have one battery box for
each SBrick where 2 XL  and one of the Ms are connected.

Done!!! That was a lot of fun for me and my son!!! Thank you so much!

How do I post a photo here?

May I ask you is there any chance to damage the motors when going offroad because of the axle connection directly to the motor. I am just curious because XL motors are expensive here and i ve wasted 1 already. It rotates with slower speed and and i can sense metallic smell when it is working.

No, there shouldnt be any damage and belive me, I offroaded A LOT with this model.., Did you get the motor wet or, did you drop it, or such?
      • 3 years, 9 months ago koko9890 Level 6
I've wasted the motor with other moc but I don't know how. Never went on wet surface or in water ... The moc was tracked vehicle with suspension and 2 xl motors were directly connected to 2 of the gearwheels 1 each side/1 per track. And 1 day when I pressed forward on both channels for left and right track , one of the tracks was going faster then the other one. I've tried to open it but it's assembled very stiff and I don't want to break it totally. Ty for the answer. I am planning on building 8x8 truck integrating your fox suspension and steering mechanism but with different body and 42054 huge tires.
