Model of digital positioner for power drives (for example TZIDC from ABB).
For normal operation of the Lego valve, before starting work, it is necessary to adjust the opening value for minimum air flow. The program provides for 5 positions of opening of the pneumatic cylinder: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100%. Use buttons up and down to set the desired position of the pneumatic cylinder. Pressing the central button activates the program that controls the valve to open or close the pneumatic cylinder. If the pneumatic cylinder is stopped at the position not corresponding to the task, you can repeat the control operation by pressing the central button again. The position is tracked by a small motor from a set of minstorms. 2 large minstorms motors are used to pump air and control the Lego valve.


The following LEGO set's were used: 45544, 9641, 42054.

8. manometer from the Pneumatic 9641 Lego set;
9. tubes from the Pneumatic 9641 Lego set;
10. the remaining parts of the Claas Xerion 5000 (42054) Lego set.
