Berlin Siegessäule (Victory Column)

This is my adaptation of the Victory Column of Berlin. I chose the scale to match with the Architecture-series model of the Brandenburg Gate (#21011).

Features include the granite socket with the four bronze reliefs, the gallery of pillars with the golden glass mosaic at the center, the sandstone column with its golden ornaments, and is topped off by the observation platform and the bronze sculpture of the godess victoria, holding up laurel wreath and ensigns.

The construction is pretty much straightforward, constisting of many round elements obviously. The reliefs at the base are attached with SNOT technique to create the slight offsets at the bottom and upper edges.

This model has been color-corrected from the original design to be actually buildable.
