31057 Sea integrator
The starting point for this model was the front in which I combined the wedge brick and cockpit in a vertical setup. To get a sufficient dynamic shape I already knew I would have to use the slopes and wings sideways. This setup also required the model to have more height than usual, which is not easy in a set which contains mainly plates. I managed to create consistent layers to set it up. For this build I switched around the hinge and sideways parts (from the Sea Grinder), which peculiarities required me to solve some design issues, at which I succeeded quite well. As I wanted to include the small rudders and the motors at the top I had to play with a few setups until I found one that worked. The resulting model is quite striking, I think, and looks very good.
