F-26 Tempest designed by Jon Hall

Jon Hall is a fantastic designer who seamlessly blends WW2 fighter craft with diesel punk elements to create gorgeous looking aircraft. With his permission we have been able to bring you the instructions so you can build your own models of his designs.

This is his description of the F-26 Tempest,

"The F-26 Tempest became the backbone of the Heliconian Royal Air Force fighter squadrons during the First Great War. Replacing the outdated Zephyr fighters the Tempest boasted four 15mm front facing wing fixed cannons and three of the new A-2 Hellion engines, making it the fastest plane in the skies at the time. Its manoeverability was a vast improvement on the Zephyr and it rapidly became a favourite among Heliconian fighter pilots."

The professional quality instructions are 115 pages long, and include a page that you can print out to create your own decals.

The Tempest measures 28.4cm (11.2") x 31.6cm (12.5") x 7.7cm (3")

There are 4 colour variants available for the Tempest, while the original Sand Blue is very expensive to build, the other colour variants are much more affordable.

Please note:  This is an expert level design. Some of the techniques Jon uses are unconventional and may require some brick bending or other such advanced techniques.
