This is an older version of my Sisyphus kinetic sculpture. I have since designed a new version with many improvements, including the replacement of the black support rod with a much nicer transparent bar.

I have uploaded both a motorized and manually powered version of the new design, which you can find here:

I built mine before the instructions for the base were released, absolutely LOVE it! Looks beautiful, flows perfect - amazing work as always

This is a great project, I am in the processing of building it.

Any chance you can post the part list and instructions for the "exterior wall"?

Hey Jason. Was overly amazed by this build. Ive built the exterior myself in LDD already.

Is this something you'd be willing to share?
          • 4 years, 2 months ago Syniztah Level 4
Absolutely. Although while I was waiting, Jason has released the Base model as an Ldraw file. Up to you!

All good. Must admit I was a tad upset when I had finally finished it in LDD, and ordered all the parts - THEN instructions were posted haha. Typical. Amazing build. Very happy with mine.

I love how realistic it looks from technic parts. Have you got the mechanical horse one or full instructions for the self driving bus model as well? Keep on building.

Thanks! I'll try to do the horse instructions in the coming weeks/months.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT MOC,.......THE INGENUITY OF FUTILITY....GREAT IDEA FOR A MODEL, I KNOW I MAY SOUND LAZY , BUT IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF YOU ALSO DOING THE SCULPTURED BASE INSTRUCTIONS...
    • 4 years, 3 months ago JKBrickworks Level 22 Designed this MOC
Yes, I am working on the instructions for the full model with the base. They will be posted here at some point, hopefully not to far in the distant future. :)

Nothing but amazing. The mechanics is simple but works perfect. The shapes show a brilliant imagination.
