Narrow Firehouse

This is an alternate design for LEGO 60110 Fire Station except for one 16 x 32 baseplate due to the compatibility to current modular buildings.

Some spare parts were also used.

You don’t have to disassemble the fire truck and hot dog cart in the original set.

It is recommended to place it between other modular buildings as there is no side wall on the first floor.

Have fun!

I Love this firestation except I didn’t realize the fire truck hang out of the back of the garage

I love this set! Brilliant conversion to a street scape version of the fire station while keeping the key features. I made my own attempt at a 32x32 version using basically all the red parts I have but this is way more efficient using only the 60110 pieces. A worthy first of many buildings in my future modular city - 5* :-)

Thanks, glad that you like this. I’d like to also see your extended version in the MOC Photos if you don’t mind. :)

Sadly I didn’t think of it as my first MOC and didn’t take any photos... it’s now dismantled to make your version!
Tried to get the pole coming down in a courtyard (difficult - it needs about 8x8 to spin the minifig), used the second roller shutter as a divider between the fire engine bay and ground floor, added a balcony with some flowers... also put the mini fire engine build from this years advent calendar on display in the entrance.
Actually one thing I did was build a barrier for the back of the fire engine bay using a yellow 1x6 block on top of the yellow 1x1 cylinders, as the fire engine kept falling out the back, I notice on yours it doesn’t quite fit in the back of the baseplate either :(

My kid and I really enjoyed this alternate build.  He enjoyed playing with this version more than the original.

That’s the news I always want to hear. I’m glad as well that he liked this.

Hi Peter, thank you. I couldn’t submit it to the Remake project because of the additional baseplate.

I'm going to try this out for my Friends street of modulars.

I added tags to make your MOC and 60110-1 show up together in searches. Even if it isn't a true alternate, they are still related.

Oh that’s a great idea! I think it would go better with Friends sets.

Thank you. Please place it by your Fire Brigade when you try. :)
