Wing Flapping Mechanism

This is the core flapping mechanism used to drive the wings of Kristal's Bat model. I explain how it works in detail in the video. I think it's a pretty interesting and compact mechanism for what it does. Hopefully some people might find it of interest.

Hi jason.  I hope you are doing well and have time to read this comment.  I have done most of the wing just by watching the video many times.  Most of the views that you are getting from Sweden are from me XD.
I just need help with one item that I have been unable to find.  Could you please share the part number of the bars used here?
    Thanks a lot.

I love this mechanism and I'm deeply mesmerized with it.  I just built it and will look at the video to copy the rest.

I don't know if Kristal has gotten the instructions done yet and you probably know this but LEGO DIGITAL DESIGNER WORKS GREAT FOR INSTRUCTIONS. And as always keep on building and see you next time:)!

Great MOC! very interesting mechanism, I also think the instructions for the full bat model would be great.

Love it! If Kristal doesn't mind, I would love instructions for the bat as well. Would love to do this entire project.

She certainly doesn't mind. It's mostly a matter of finding the time to make the model 'instruction friendly' and then actually putting together the instructions.

Understood. And I know that can be a long drawn out process. I'll get a notice when/if you post them. Thanks for all the awesome MOCs you post.

Thank you so much for instructions.

I wonder if you had at least the parts list for some of your other models like Piranha Plant etc  or is it normally driven by instructions?

    thanks to all your work

No, I don't have parts lists for any models without instructions. As you guessed, making instructions is how I get the parts lists. :)

Cool, do you have any plans to do any other animals?
