74-Z speeder bike, Hoth configuration. Although this wasn't seen in the Empire Strikes Back, several semi-canon sources suggest they were used on Hoth. Credit due to several builders I've borrowed ideas from on Flickr, particularly Brickdoctor, Larry Lars, and, of course, Calin.

Please note that this model is designed for display rather than play, and is quite fragile!

It's easy to make an Endor version from these instructions, but currently the 2x2 corner tile is not available in brown, so you'll need a little trial and error to get the claw clip to hold a 1x2 tile and a 1x1 tile at the same time. You'll also need to replace the tooth plates with a suitable brown part. I used a 1x2 tile.

Finally, a note on the pilot's head. The ball joint works well to allow the scout trooper to look forward, but it doesn't give any friction, so the helmet has to be balanced. Wrapping the ball joint with a tiny piece of cling film (food wrap) will give a little extra friction so the helmet stays in place.

Instructions created in ML-Cad and LPUB.
