There is also problem with http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4860c01 peeron lists is as subversion of 4860 (which in fact it's not, it's slightly higher part) and preassembled while rebrickable lists all 3 subparts (wheel, tire and plate special).

I think we generally try to list assemblies as much as possible as 'loose' parts, unless the loose parts themselves are hardly ever used separate from the rest (though admittedly, this 'rule' seems to be applied somewhat inconsistently). We're currently considering whether we should add a 'consists of' relationship to link together assemblies and loose parts. However, this might cause issues with Rebrickable's 'Build' algorithm (the one that enables you to check what percentage of a set you got covered with your loose parts), so this will have to be researched carefully first.

Peeron lists this part as 4860 while rebrickable 4860 has no sets included and it looks the same: http://rebrickable.com/parts/4860

4870 is LEGO's official Design ID, so we prefer to use that number (incidentally, so do LDraw and BrickLink). I've gotten rid of part 4860 to prevent confusion.
