Such an awesome creation! I love it how you captured everything about the Death Star in such a small scale with this surprisingly ominous looking ball! The inner structure looks really clever and allows you to create such a smooth sphere, complete with details and place for the concave dish. The details are genius as well with their incredibly detailed but homogeneous look that's perfect to suggest scale. I love it!

I'm really looking forward to participating in this one... once i finish other contests. It seems like I'll have a lot of fun with these alternates once again! Thanks for keeping it up. I like the judging system too.

Hilarious :D Looks like a pretty refined build. It's unfortunate it's not that stable and that the neck is on the short side for an ostrich. Great job anyway, lot of creativity!

Amazing job! Certainly didn't see that coming! Anyway, great cockpit area and nice back side. Too bad you couldn't reinforce the neck of the ship. Also, the main body and the motors are not very rounded of. But considering the limied pieces, this is amazing. At first, I didn't even notice this was an alternate build!

Well, for the contest I entered the my Slave I (an 75003 alternate as well). I thought that one was more original. This starfighter comes clearly from the A-wing. With the Slave I, that's less clear. And that's what makes a alternate build work in my eyes. Of course you can still build this, and enjoy flying it around with the Slave I!
