Hi, I have enlarged my collection of lego over the years, and I am enjoying learning from the great ideas of fellow enthusiasts to enhance my models.
I have started putting some of my ideas onto this site via the Moc submission system, and hope to have some more on soon.

My store on Bricklink does not yet have any items for sale, but that might change as time goes on.

    Hi Nathan
I really like the way you have improved the search for parts section, though I have one suggestion which I would find very helpful. Could you please add a tab for the Technic Special category, as that is a category I will often default too, if I do not think a part I am looking for will be in any of the other more usual Technic sections. It is where you find the linear actuators, as obviously they will not be in the pneumatic section. The very rare Metal hooks that are no longer produced are found there too.
    Thanks

    Excellent review TobyMac :)
I think I will for now just buy the XL linear actuators, when I find someone selling them. Currently they are not listed on bricklink.
Maybe my wife might let me buy one next year, or if I can find a really good price etc.... Loved the OCD comment :) I expect my wife would have noticed that too :)
Nice also to see that BuWizz works with the hubs. This should hence get around the problem of FOL's wanting to use the hubs and motors in their own MOCS?? As much as I would like both 42100 and some buWizzes, the prices are certainly a hinderance at the moment.

Looking at the picture of the battery holder, and also having watched Sariel's review, I suspect it takes 6 batteries, per hub, AA size, but TobyMac will no doubt give a definitive answer.
I was under the mistaken impression that these hubs would be powered by LiPo batteries much like the trains are, and the buWizz. This is a big disappointment to me, LiPo surely must be better for the environment? That is one of the more appealing aspects of BuWizz.....Not having to buy lots of batteries, and then dispose of them in a manner that does not damage the environment.

Hmm, your answer arrived after I posted mine, even though it was apparently posted 16 minutes earlier! :)

I still have that set, it is a great set, I loved playing with it too. I really like the V8 you have made for it, not something I tried myself, but I do like your version. Shame it is missing the yellow exhaust pipes, but nice to see an old model revamped in the old style 😀
