    I feel similarly. It's certainly lacking in bulk and feels "only halfway there". The car could easily have used a hundred pieces extra or more to flesh out its body and make the "hover mode" functional.

    I bought some extra parts on Bricklink and resorted to what I had already in my repository. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a single set or a combination of sets that would provide all the necessary parts in sufficient numbers. A single set of 31088 will give you all the essential parts for the mantle, but you still will need more. For my initial review (https://myleniumsbrickcorner.wordpress.com/2019/02/25/under-the-sea-deep-sea-creatures-31088/) I purchased three sets, so I had a good basis to work from. everything else needs to be scraped together from other sources.
