    Thank you for telling about 24375 Rubber Technic Thread Attachment! As for the playability it is worth mentioning that both Model A and Model B have no dust protection, so axles, gears and other moving parts will suffer greatly when driving on a dusty ground or sand. But these are one of the few types of terrain where steering is actually effective.
    For me and my 5-year old son this was our first Technic set. This set was bought as an experiment and simple RC model that, if not satisfying, could be disassembled and used to build something else (additional gears were bought to show my kid some mechanics). We played with it at most 10 times during last 6 months. Few weeks ago we found a way to make it more joyful: you can play polo with it! We added a bumper with two horns wide enough, built a pair of gates and now we play by catching a ball between these horns and pushing it into the gate!
