I like to build MOC truck models, but also pure functional models like gearboxes and motors.
I drove heavy trucks in the past, so I am so enthusiastic about it

Hi Virgule, yesterday I installed a second XL engine, symmetrical to the first one. Could not test it yet. Build a completely different cab. It now has almost twice the speed at 1.1 times torque. I'm going to do tests soon and see how he goes through the terrain...

However, you must not forget, he has no differentials, on solid ground, we stressed the steering very strong. So I would not use it as a road vehicle. you can take the drive from the front axle, so make a 6x4 out of it. Unfortunately, the differential does not fit in the way it is built. he was built for soft underground

    Hello Virgule,
I could make you a small construction manual of the mudguards, if you want. I would give you for free. They consist of very few items. Theoretically a second XL motor would be possible, but one should not forget that there is a lot of torque, which must be transmitted via the cardan joints. I have not seen the new joints of the 42099, but they should be quite stable, so I would dare. Maybe I'll make a version with driv drive train.
I have already planned to replace the servo motor with an M-engine, as it can better be ranked trailer. However, there is not much room left for a gear that can reduce the high rpm to an adjusted rpm, so it gets tight. I built a similar model with the tires from the 42030. see the following links

However, lego comes to its limits when it comes to driving off-road. Plastic is just too weak. Therefore, the models are relatively slow, because I have to work with large translations. There are also pictures on the heavy transport at bricksafe, you can also find under the link. I could imagine that the tractor could work with second xl engine as a pusher. I've seen something like that before, because one has put on a weight behind, so that he puts enough pressure on the ground and does not slip.
    Kind regards
    Stefan

Thank you very much. Next, construct another lamp, which can be adjusted with cable pulleys. Zhink it will be nice in design terms. The electronics should also have some smart features, but I still have to program

Sorry, "ass" means the highest playing card in german. Error of the translator :-)
